PEOPLE reported their wedding plans to Sydney in March of 2022. Sydney was sporting a diamond band around her finger ring while she was in the city earlier in the month in Los Angeles. As of 2023, Sydney and Jonathan have been together for five years. Sweeney is a name with Irish roots, and is inspired by the Gaelic Mac Suibhne. This is a reference to "son of Suibhne". It is believed that the Gaelic surname Suibhne was originally a byname meaning "pleasant" as well as "well-disposed" and is associated with Clan Sweeney. Sydney Bernice Sweeney was born on the 12th of September, 1997, at Spokane, Washington, to Lisa (nee Mudd) and Steven Sweeney. Her father works as a medical doctor, while her mother works as an attorney. Trent, her older brother, is her only one of her siblings. Sydney Sweeney has been adopting Tank since 2015. This is evident in her Instagram post of January 2018 where she wishes Tank happy birthday. Sweeney was born with dogs and raised from her grandparents living in Spokane Washington. Rue, also widely known in Ireland by the name of Herb-of- Grace. Rue was used for holy sprinkle. Yahoo Life quoted her as saying earlier this week "I was always brunette.
