Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the third daughter of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena began her music career when she was 8 year older. Her father formed a band. Selena's older brothers Abraham junior and Abraham junior, who played the base guitar and sister Suzette who played drums were also part of the group. Selena also sang. Selena Y Los Dino is the name of the band and Selena played with her elder siblings at events like weddings and bars as well as other places. Selena's siblings and she never got to enjoy having a happy childhood since the group took up the majority of her space and time. They had a father named Abraham, however, encouraged them by encouraging their determination. Abraham senior was also a member of The Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos formed officialy in 1981. It was a family-owned business, Selena Los Dinos. It was the principal source of income for the Quintanilla family. Quintanilla was determined, even though being a poor financial situation in early on. They continued to strive to become a successful family band. Their patience would eventually pay dividends in the 1980's when Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularity in the west states. From that point on Selena Y Los Dinos were among the top winners year after year and gained notoriety and fame.
